It's been a long time since TIFF made use of the final weekend Sunday. More time for repeat screenings, I presume. I wonder if they're going to move the Closing Night festivities as well or if this is purely a daytime thing.
Darren, it's delightful to consider that--despite the closure of Long Pauses--you'll be keeping this site live for 2010?
Michael, I went back-and-forth for weeks but finally decided to book my trip to Toronto. It's going to be hard to leave Rory behind, but Joanna actually encouraged me to go. She knows I always return from TIFF a happier, healthier person. Are you going?
I've submitted my press accreditation form and presume it will be granted. So, yes, I plan on being there. Allegedly it's going to be a great year with many titles premiering at Toronto that were not ready for Cannes. And then there will the whole new Lightbox experience. I'm jacked! And, of course, it will be wonderful to visit with you and hear all about this rich family life you've created for yourself. Bring photos of Rory!
